My apologies, but I've had to shut down the ability to post comments on this blog due to the number of spambot comments and my technological inability to set up Capcha. Heh. Going through the spam and deleting the messages that were meant to lure me, you, or your pet to some merchandizing website was chewing up time I could have been using to write. So there it is. However, I have a mirror blog for this column over on Wordpress. Look for C. Patrick's Motley. To avoid those darned spambots some more, I'll write it out: goblinbrook dot wordpress dot com. There's a good chance that I'll be migrating the whole blog over there at some point, once I figure out how and once I find the time.
There's a similarly-named Facebook fan page (again, look for "C. Patrick's Motley") for those of you wanting to follow the day-to-day trials and moderate tribulations of a sometimes-struggling writer. Oh, and there's a Twitter feed, too, which fills you in on my progress writing AND what's going on with the squirrel in the attic.
I appreciate the REAL comments that readers have left on these pages and will be sad to see them go away, so go over and make comments at the WordPress blog, which runs a much better spam filter.
